Izzy Hadala, an award-winning author, anti-bullying activist and high school freshman, will travel from her home in Winter Park, Florida to speak at the Ladies First program on Thursday, November 21 at 6:30 p.m. in the Texas Health Huguley Fitness Center Amphitheater. Born with ectodermal dysplasia, a malformation of the hands, feet and teeth, Izzy will speak about how her personal experiences led her to write children’s literature with the theme, “Embrace Your Difference.” The event is free and open to the community; call 817-568-5480 to reserve a seat.
